HUGHES STREET PARK
Dear Mr Ryan,
I have recently received what can only described as a heart-wrenching letter from local school children asking for my help to make their local playground safe.
Local police are only too aware of the problems associated with this park for at least six months now. I understand it has also been raised in parliament recently.
While I understand the problem can not be solved overnight, in my opinion it has gone for long enough.
I have promised to bring the childrens letter to you personally and would ask for up 20 minutes of your time to present the case of local residents and the children regarding this park.
During this meeting, I also intend to update you on what Council intends to do to improve this park.
While I would like to show you the park personally, I understand how busy you are and would be more than happy to come to your office to discuss this matter.
The children and I eagerly await your response. It is my hope that we can meet sometime this week.
Kind regards,
Thang Ngo
